This project involves the transformation of a resale HDB flat into a bright, contemporary home through a restrained architectural language that emphasizes spatial clarity, light, and material refinement. The design approach prioritizes openness and continuity while responding sensitively to the constraints typical of public housing layouts.
Resale Residential Project
The existing plan was rationalized to create a fluid living / dining space, minimizing visual obstructions and allowing natural light to penetrate deep into the interior. The dining area is positioned as a central node within the home, acting as both a functional and social anchor that mediates between the entrance and the living zone. This arrangement reinforces spatial hierarchy without relying on physical partitions.
